Richie's Spirit Foundation's life-saving work and partnership with Children’s National.
At 6 years old, Richie Herskowitz became the youngest person living with cystic fibrosis to receive a double-lung transplant. Richie’s prolonged life was due to the generosity of a family who donated their child’s lungs.
In his memory, Richie's Spirit Foundation promotes organ donation to people of all ages through education awareness programs, grants to honor Richie's memory, and inspiring others to live life with a positive spirit.
